Partnering with parents to provide their kids with an opportunity to meet Jesus in a fun and safe environment.

What We Do

During each of our weekend services, we provide much more than childcare. Our Kingdom Kids team presents a fun and engaging environment while communicating Biblical truth.

What You Do

Upon arrival you will check your child in at one of our touchscreen computers. You will receive a printed label, one for you to keep and one to place on your child. These labels will have a unique code for that service. Parents must show the unique label when picking their children up from their classroom. If your child needs you anytime during the service, you will receive a text message asking you to report to Kingdom Kids.

FAQs

Here is a list of questions we often get from parents. Don’t see your question? Send us an email!

Q: This is our first time here. What do we do?
A: When you arrive, stop by New Here Start Here, where our volunteers will get you directed to our children’s ministry.
Q: Do you offer a child dedication or baptism?
A: Abundant Life Church does not offer infant baptism, but we do offer baby dedications for children from birth to 2 years old. If you are interested in more information click here. We baptize kids as early as kindergarten provided they understand what Jesus has done for them and can speak about it so that there is no question it is their faith. If your child is interested in being baptized, click here to get them signed up.
Q: How do you keep my kids safe?
A: Upon arrival you will check your child in at one of our touchscreen computers. You will receive a printed label, one for you to keep and one to place on your child. These labels will have a unique code for that service. Parents must show the unique label when picking their child up from their classroom. Two background-checked adults are present in each classroom in every service. If your child needs you anytime during the service, you will receive a text message asking you to report to Kingdom Kids.
Q: What does serving in Kingdom Kids look like?
A: We have many different areas to serve in Kingdom Kids. You can serve as a new family check in, nursery, toddlers, preschool, elementary, or special needs. You can serve at least one service a month up to every weekend. If you’re interested in serving in this ministry, click here to sign up.
Q: Do my kids get a snack during service?
A: The nursery has puffs and goldfish available. We’re aware that many children and families experience food allergies, so during services our nursery provides puffs and goldfish; toddlers through kindergarten receive water, goldfish, and fruit snacks; elementary is given the opportunity to pick out a piece of candy at the end of service. If your child has allergies, please alert our Kingdom Kids staff to receive a medical alert sticker along with their name label.
Q: How do I facilitate what my child has learned during service at home?
A: A great resource would be our Parent Cue app. You can download it here. This app provides a lesson video, parent resources, and daily questions that relate to the weekly theme.
Q: What if my kid is upset at drop-off?
A: We recognize that drop-off can be a difficult transition for some families. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to help your child adjust by including them in our planned activities. If after 10 minutes your child remains upset, we will send you a text message to return to their classroom.
