Your Promise Land
Your Calling
Your Destiny
Your Purpose
Your Legacy
And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
Numbers 13:25-27
Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.
Numbers 13:27-28
The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
Numbers 13:29-30
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report (KJV: EVIL) of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
Numbers 13:31-32
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Numbers 13:33
So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”
Numbers 14:4
But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.
Numbers 14:6-7
If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”
Numbers 14:8-9
and the Lord showed signs and wonders before our eyes, great and severe, against Egypt, Pharaoh, and all his household. Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers.
Deuteronomy 6:22-23
Their Excuses
The People Are Great
The Cities Are Walled
The Giants Are Big
The Land Is Tough
God Declared They Had One Problem:
“Unbelief”
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Hebrews 3:19
Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation.
Psalm 78:22
Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
Psalm 78:41
They Limited God?
because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.
Numbers 14:22-24

“Joshua and Caleb”
3. Joshua and Caleb Focused On God’s Provision
Israel Focused On Obstacles
When You Focus On Obstacles and Impossibilities, Your Faith Shrinks
When You Focus On God’s Supernatural Provision Your Faith Stretches
4. Joshua and Caleb Had The Right Confession
Israel Had The Wrong Confession
A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:20-21
What You Speak Is What God Can Do In Your Life
Confession Means Saying The Same Thing God has ALREADY Said In His Word
Confession Comes Before Possession!
But
When You Complain, You Remain!
I Want To:
Believe It!
Speak It!
Receive It!
5. Joshua and Caleb Walked By Faith
Israel Walked By Sight
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
