Mission Statement
Abundant Life Church Will Bring Life, Love and Value To Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday

1. Think Big
We will GO BIG OR GO HOME. We refuse to insult God with small thinking. We serve a big God who does big things.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

2. Excellence
We will do all that we do with EXCELLENCE. Excellence honors God and inspires people.

2 Peter 1:5 NASV
Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.

3. Giving
We will give God our FIRST & OUR BEST. We realize we are stewards of our time, talents, resources and God deserves the best of them all.

Malachi 3:10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

4. Sacrifice
We will SACRIFICE. We will give up the things we love for the things that we love more. It’s an honor to sacrifice for Christ and His church.

Matthew 13:44-46
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

5. Evangelism
We will WIN THE LOST. We will do anything short of sin to reach people who don’t know Christ.

Mark 16:15-18
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

6. Work Hard
We will WORK HARD & LAUGH HARDER. Nothing is more fun than serving God with people you love.

Colossians 3:23 TLB
Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord and not merely for your masters, remembering that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you, giving you your full portion of all he owns. He is the one you are really working for.

7. Integrity
We will honor Christ and His church with INTEGRITY. If we live with integrity, nothing else matters. If we don’t live with integrity, nothing matters.

Proverbs 11:3
The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.

Proverbs 28:6
Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

8. Serving
We are SPIRITUAL CONTRIBUTORS & NOT SPIRITUAL CONSUMERS. The church does not exist for us. We are the church and we exist for the world.

Ephesians 4:15
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

9. Change
We will CHANGE. The church must continually move with God! The message is the same, but the methods must progress with the culture.

1 Corinthians 9:22b-23
I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

10. Life Transformation
We will have LIFE TRANSFORMATION not behavior modification.

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
